My work sent to me the product key of the Volume Licensed Version of the Office Pro Plus to install on my laptop. However, I am not able to find a link to download this version and since I am working remotely in a far city it is not possible for me to go to my office to get the setup file from the IT. Moreover, I have both mac and windows, will it be possible for me to use the same key for both of them?

As far as I know, it is valid for both mac and pc, but I'm not a volume licensing expert by any means so i could be wrong.
